Privacy Policy

What we hold,
and what we don't.

Last updated 8 July 2026

Kaleshwara Ltd is a personal-growth company. Bhairava exists to help you regain control of your attention and build a greater sense of well-being and freedom. The commitment is deliberately firm — but its purpose is always your growth, not your loss.

Bhairava is built on restraint, and that extends to your data. We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and most of what the app does to your screen-time data never leaves your phone. This policy explains what we do collect and why.

Who we are

Bhairava ("Bhairava", "we", "us") is operated by Kaleshwara Ltd (company no. 17322574), 12 Stonor Road, London, England, W14 8RZ. For any privacy question, write to info@bhairava.app.

What we collect

Your screen-time data stays on your phone

Bhairava uses Apple's Screen Time framework (FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, ManagedSettings) to monitor usage and shield apps. On iOS, these APIs report only threshold events and opaque app tokens back to us — the app cannot read your exact usage, your app content, or your notification content. A fast-follow Android version will read usage statistics locally on the device in the same coarse way. On both platforms, your raw per-app usage is processed on your device and is never uploaded; our backend receives only minimal signals — for example, "limit hit" or "forfeit triggered" — not a transcript of what you did.

How we use what we collect

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Who processes it for us

Each acts under Kaleshwara Ltd's instructions, processing data only for the purposes above and under its own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep account and session data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards where we must — for example to resolve a payment dispute or meet a legal obligation. Waitlist emails are kept until launch or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Deleting your account in the app removes your data, subject to the limited retention above. To exercise any right, email info@bhairava.app. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

Children

Bhairava is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email.
